OCD Obsessive Behaviour

OCD is deemed a common mental health condition in which a person has obsessive thoughts and compulsive behaviours. OCD can be distressing and interfere with life significantly. Treatment can help you keep it under control.

The recommendations for OCD are CBT (cognitive behavioural therapy) and SSRI’s (selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors). Both treatments are readily available on the NHS and it is worth consulting your GP for further advice and treatment options.

We often support those with Obsessive Behaviour which can interfere with life but may not be particularly distressing, or interfering to any significant degree. We may need to write to your GP, with your permission, to ensure that you have the best support possible. We offer free consultations to discuss your unique requirements and potential issues.
